Na een turbulente periode als AIOS in het AMC, begon mijn onderzoekstraject in juli 2016 in het Amsterdam UMC. Aangezien het onderzoek de afgelopen drie jaar naast mijn fulltime baan als AIOS urologie moest plaatsvinden, gebeurde dit met name in mijn vrije tijd naast de opvoeding van mijn kinderen. Sinds 2020 doe ik dit naast mijn fulltime baan als uroloog in het Bravis ziekenhuis in Bergen op Zoom en Roosendaal waar ik aandachtsgebied oncologie en robot chirurgie heb. Ik hoop nog vele medische calculators uit te brengen die patiënten kunnen ondersteunen tijdens de lastige beslissingen rond de behandeling van prostaatkanker.
